Learning to play the piano is a very exciting adventure for a child. The brilliant challenge for any teacher is to encourage and motivate that emotion in a true love for the instrument that will last a lifetime.
What we will look for in the child, is that he can sit and pay attention in his first 2 sessions of 15 minutes to 20 minutes a week (3 years), to be able to reach a single session of 30 to 40 minutes progressively (4 years onwards).
Proper posture, musical notes, knowledge of the keys (black and white), scales and octaves will also be included in this course. All this knowledge will be progressive and with fun activities to develop not only the ability to play, but also learning through play is essential in these classes.
In each class we will learn an easy song and we can already add the accompaniment, this motivates the student visually because he is realizing that he can create songs with simple notes and using one or two hands!
Remember that the goal of a teacher is to make the student feel that he can achieve anything because with motivation and practice it is very easy to achieve our goals and not only in music, in everything we set in life.
